I think the one I tend to enjoy the most is Talledega Nights.... not necessarily because of Will but because of John C. Reilly.

That entire scene where he is confessing that he did Playgirl magazine makes me roll every time I hear it.

If we are talking purely Will Ferrell, I think I'd have to go with Elf... the innocence of his character and how you end up believing that this dude thinks he is a real elf.

I think Reilly is even better in Step Brothers. He's on equal footing in that one. Not just the sidekick to Ferrell.

Step Brothers if we're talking comedy

Not to be "that guy" but Stranger than Fiction is a great drama he did and it's probably my favorite work of his. Actually pretty funny too.

So, so so underrated. One of the best comedies of the decade and a tour de force by Mark Wahlberg. Might be his best work ever.

Talladega Nights was the hardest I've ever laughed in a theater. I think its super rewatchable but slightly less funny on tv.

Other guys is pretty funny. Not his top movie but a solid one nonetheless

Also his wife being a smoke show is hilarious

She's cute. Not hot.

Comedies, it's Step Brothers. But I really like Everything Must Go. He plays a confused deadbeat, who doesn't realize he's a deadbeat, very well.
