This is a strange thought for me.

When South Park first aired, I was just turning 13. The way my friends described it, I thought it was some new Melrose Place bullshite so I ignored it.

Then one night, I noticed on the guide that South Park was coming on. So I watched the episode about volcanoes and laughed my arse off.

That's when it peaked. I've sort of grown up with that show. Weird for it to possibly be coming to an end.

I DVR every episode. As of right now I have 74 episodes. I can't bring myself to delete them.

I can remember when the media tried to point it out as being trashy & volger back when I was younger. I watched it off and on when I was younger and then once college started ('07) i started watching it more.

I definitely didn't see something like this happening tonight.

Started watching during season 1 at about the age of 9 or 10 and have seen every single episode. For me, there have been gems in every season. At least 4-5 episodes that stand out as classics

It's very weird to think that i started watching this show when I was 8 years old. God damn, that was a long time ago.

Same here. I remember before South Park came on, but it just feels like it's always been around. I grow attached to a select few shows and I think this one ending will the most emotional I've ever gotten over one

I can't really say im emotional attached to South Park (I'm the same way with a few other shows). But, it definitely does feel like south park has been on my entire life.

Most shows peak for a couple of seasons...

For me, South Park probably peaked for Seasons 4-10.

One season too early for me. Both seasons are their best though, imo. My post from the 10K thread...

Season 9 is pretty much the pinnacle for me. That season had some of my favorite eps, and I have been watching SP since the beginning.

"Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina" - dolphinoplasty? Also, Kyle as a black basketball player, with Garrison's balls as knee caps!

"Die Hippie, Die" - over the top, but funny

"Wing" - City Wok... errr.. Shity Wok episodes are always money

"Best Friends Forever" - Won a freaking Emmy in '05

"The Losing Edge" Top 5 all time favorite episode. A Randy episode at that!

"The Death of Eric Cartman" - funny and I consider it a Butter's ep, even though he shares time with Cartman

"Erection Day" - Jimmy and boners, go figure.

"Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow" - Another top 5 episode for me. Maybe my favorite.

"Marjorine" - Butters episode alert! Butters fakes his own death, hilarious episode

"Follow That Egg!" - "Mrs. Garrison vows to stop same-sex marriage and uses the kids in her class as an example of why homosexual couples would make poor parents."

"Ginger Kids" - Top 7 episode

"Trapped in the Closet" - Top 7 episode, maybe top 5

"Free Willzyx" - worst of the season, but still pretty good

"Bloody Mary" - Top 7 episode. Another Randy ep.

Let's look at the numbers here:
2 Randy eps
2 Butters eps
1 Jimmy ep
1 City Wok ep
2 Top 5 eps
5 Top 7's eps
And, the weakest ep was still good

Season Awesome

I started watching when it came out. I was in college. After college, there were places that would actually have SP viewing parties. Then, it hit a wall for a couple years there, and then Matt and Trey decided that they didn't give a frick if they pissed people off, and it became great.

Came out my senior year of high school and I've been watching it ever since. I haven't lost any interest in it all and will keep watching till it's off the air.

exactly the same for me...31 years old and I still watch something that continues to define my humor now as much as it did when I was 17.

I believe I was in 4th grade when it started and have watched ever since.

amazing how it went from a show pretty much based around kids cussing to what it is today.

I hope they do another movie before calling it quits.
