Who can best explain the connection of Predators, Aliens, The Engineers, and...

so-forth? How do the Trilobite, Predator, Alien and Engineers all co-exist?
We've seen the Predators movies and the Aliens movies...and how they would fight each other. Mainly, the Predators would sacrifice humans to the Aliens in hopes of the creation of more aliens to provide a great "hunt"... Now we have the Engineers, who supposedly created mankind. We have the Trilobite, who lays an egg inside the Engineer and creates an Alien, after being born to a human through sex with another human infected with the black goo (that will completely tear down an Engineer when swallowed) that was supposedly a weapon used in Prometheus.
Has anyone come across a link to explain this whole connection in-depth.

They through continuity out the window years ago. Its best if you just go with it and ignore the need to punch the writers in the throat.

Engineers created aliens . Predators aren't as advanced

Predators aren't part of the "Alien" storyline
Engineers created "aliens" as a weapon.

Yeah, AVP tried to say the Predators created the Alien has an ultimate prey but even the Predators movie deliberately ignored the events in the 2 AVPs and only acknowledged the events of the 1st Predator. So I don't think the AVP story is an "accepted" storyline.

Damon Lindlehof....
Therefore, no one.

I just watched a video that explained a lot with the Engineers, Aliens and such as that...
I just ponder where the Predators came into the equation. Did they just so happen to come across the Aliens, and also find a use for them (assuming as a method of training)?

Both franchises have taken liberties and left strings untied. The one thing I hope never gets ignored pr changed is the xenomorph containing human DNA. That's a proper mindf#%k.

After I watched it I felt that the creation of the humans was just step one in them creating the xenomorphs for weapons purposes. The Engineers sacrificed one of their of own on Earth, a planet with a similar atmosphere to the ones they lived and worked on in order to create life on it so that they had a place to introduce the black goo to hosts (like what happened when Holloway was exposed and then inpregnated Shaw) so they could create facehuggers which then evolve into the final weapon, the alien.
But it's such a clustered up mess who the hell knows

They all look different due to the variations in DNA.

Yeah, but even if you discount the AVP movies you have to include Predator 2 along with the original as canon. And in Predator 2 you see a Xenomorph skull in the Predator's trophy wall on the ship.

They were just using an alien queen to breed eggs for hunting use. They did not create the aliens, only use them as a rite of passage

The Jesus Engineer told them to make all of those so they could make 3 awesome movies and a bunch of stupid ones later.

I actually appreciate this thread because I, like many other people, are oddly obsessed with the universe in which the alien franchise takes place. I hope they never stop making them.

I'm pretty sure the first Xenmorph created in the third Alien movie was born out of a dog.

Yeah Alien 3 had the dog Xenomorph.
