Who remembers actor Lance Kerwin? No? Well, he’s dead at 62.

I’m just implying that not many posters will know who he is. He had a great 5 year +/- run in the late 70s. Then didn’t hear much from him.

Famous for Salem’s Lot you mean

Not only do I remember him, but I even posted in the OT thread about him that mysteriously disappeared

Seems like he did a lot more than what's been posted as 'remembered for'. Not a huge 70's star, but instantly recognizable. Sorry to hear the news.

Thread title is brutal, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t chuckle.

Anybody who is interested in posting better get in here in a hurry because Lance Kerwin threads have a way of disappearing.

I'll always remember him for Salem's Lot and James at 15, but easily his most impactful role to me was in The Loneliest Runner, a TV movie about bedwetting. I had a bout of it when I was about 10. It was embarrassing enough with just my parents knowing, so it hit home at the time. Michael Landon wrote and directed based upon his childhood and his experiences. Because of that film I'll never forget how much a parent could humiliate a child. His mother was evil.

The mom would hang out his sheets to embarrass him. So he would haul arse home from school to take down the sheets before his friends could see them. Seems kind of silly but if you were in his situation it was believable that he would do what he had to do. And he eventually made it to the Olympics so it was cruel yet great motivation.

Never even saw that, but I was right. He was in a bunch of After School Specials, as well as Escape from Witch Mountain, Wonder Woman, Little House on the Prairie, and The Bionic Woman.

I was so confused. I was like how did a movie about kids playing baseball end up with vampires in it?
Sandlot, not Salem’s lot. oof

He did a metric shite ton of TV as a kid in the 1970s.

the older vampire brother went on to play Danny, one of the Wolverines in Red Dawn.
