why does coldplay = gay ?

anyone see the comercial for the show bones where a male asks the lead female in the show if she wants to go with him to see coldplay ? then the male lead and his friend comment that the guy whom asked her to go is gay somehow because they are going to see coldplay. what is the deal ?

but they are probably the most overrated act going...not to mention that their music is kind of too "soft" I guess would be an appropriate term. They're like Kenny G is to jazz.

no, but every song in the same time signature with the same beat =/= excellent and/or original musicians either.
If half of your songs had that same 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 snare beat in the background, id be changing my fm dial too.

I can't stand Coldplay. Not because they're gay, but because they're boring and the lead singer's voice is incredibly irritating. And they are far from being great musicians.
