I honestly do not see the difference. Neither are loyal to the books. I enjoyed rickman as snape. If this dude puts on a good act i can enjoy it as well.

You don’t? The Harry Potter story spans 7 years, the movies 11 so even if the actors were properly aged to start they wouldn’t be to finish out the movies. Thats a very small example of many as to why Hollywood has never bothered with age accuracy. You see in series or movie sequels there will sometimes be years between them but in the story they’re days or weeks apart which also makes perfectly aging characters impractical.

Dude I try to be open to diversity and I recognize this changes the tone of the story.
Imagine if they made a live action Tarzan and cast Mahershala Ali as Tarzan. He's a fantastic actor and could have a great performance but it would be awkward to watch him act like a monkey on screen.

They definitely considered it. The only obvious explanation is they plan on intentionally playing up the racism angle in regards to the bullying and later distrust.
Racism, sexism, and alternative sexualities were a complete non factor in Harry Potter, they covered discrimination and prejudice strictly in universe via the pure blood wizard thing. That's how good fantasy fiction does it.
