It is! I just did it myself not long ago. Upgrade through Walmart app not Paramount IIRC.

WTF are you talking about. I get OG Perry Mason reruns 24/7. That alone justifies the existence of Paramount+.

Out of the blue Sling starts freezing up. When you’re watching a game and clock hits the hour or half hour the screen freezes but the sound continues. We have to hit the reverse button for the vid to catch up.

Love how Netflix just blew past subscriber expectations and the rest can't figure out that their revised apps suck on many TVs older than 3 years. P+ and Max work on Firestick, but the subscription info does not always pass through properly if you subscribe via Amazon. I gave up on both...don't need the hassle.

I checked it last night. My only other option was to pay $65 more and get Showtime as well. I did t see any way to upgrade P+.

2) Click account on bottom right
3) Select "See all your Walmart+ benefits"
4) Scroll down and select "Paramount+ with Showtime"
5) Select Manage Plan
6) Select Paramount+ with Showtime for $6.49 a month (Below it should be Paramount Essential for $5.99 crossed out and showing $0).

I have P+ and watch through the app on my Samsung TV. I have never noticed a problem like this, but if I have internet connection problems, I will sometimes need to reload the app.
I am not saying your cynical side is right, but I have the ad free version

If I had meant what you thought I meant universal would have been capitalized. My point was Showtime does not just come with P+ on Cox but with all streaming services so universal. In retrospect it was a poor choice of word on my part.

Not a permanent fix but I can get through an episode without restarting after a commercial.
Search shows many have problems and Pplus is aware but not doing anything to improve.
This works most of the time for me. On a few occasions the app launches sits at the P+ screen for a bit then quits. The only solution has been to clear data which I then have to login to the app all over again. PITA for sure.
I've also had the issue where after an Ad break we're returned to a spot that we've already watched and have to fast forward.
