Absolutely this. I also remember when using the word queer was considered a nasty slur, not a badge of honor.

We will continue having this thread every time so people are reminded they should not see these movies
Because they said they’re accepting of gay people (one of the main actresses is also queer)? You’re going to have a really hard time watching any movie. It’s not like Hollywood is some conservative cult.
I guess I don’t get why this bothers some people so much. The actual movie is not gay. There are basically zero gay references in the entire show. But because on their press tour, when talking to a gay magazine, about a musical (which gays tend to love) you’re not going to see it?

Because she essentially claimed Trump is going to put them in camps by saying they aren’t safe like every other queer activist.
We need to smother this ideology and drive it out

I thought the Wizard of Oz came out of the closet with Michael Jackson's portrayal of The Scarecrow in 1978.
Y'all really thought that story wasn't gay?

Wife and daughter went see it. She has been to Broadway and seen the original. She said it wasn’t bad at all and pretty good. Nothing gay or twisted. I think we have reached the point where the actresses and actors are way more fricked up then the characters they play.

I told my wife that the movie will probably be great. Actors/Actresses don't look this fricked up and weird in interviews unless they sold their soul for the part they are playing and lost touch with reality outside of their character.

Its because they are closeted homos that are struggling with it and when stuff like this comes out it makes them wanna risk it all

Like the old joke, "Homosexuality used to be 'the love that dares not speak its name'. Now it's 'the love that won't shut up'."

Back in 1900, when the Wonderful Wizard of Oz was written, "queer" meant anything that was "strange" or "odd". Same as how "gay" used to mean "happy" until about the mid 20th century.
The pandering and ignorance during their interviews should be embarrassing for them. But yes, I'm sure the chickens are still 21st century gay.

The lead actresses lick donuts and put them back on the shelf, and think an imaginary land is built off gay sex. I'm not so certain that the "acting" will be the least bit enjoyable
The donut thing was nothing. Remember that time when she got married, and then fricked some dude that was someone else's husband, breaking up both marriages?

Are we really to the point in this thread where people are arguing whether or not musicals should be gay?

Oz was queer in a children's book written in 1900? Sure.
