If you haven’t watched the original Wolf Hall miniseries, it’s well worth the watch for the acting alone. Also get to see Claire Foy as a Queen of England again, as Anne Boleyn.
For fans of the original, they ended up making another miniseries based on the last book in the series Wolf Hall is based upon.

PBS has been broadcasting the six part miniseries from 2015 that covered the first two books (I believe).
You could add on the PBS Masterpiece channel to Amazon for like $8-$10 a month to watch it as well.

Awesome, I watch the original series about once or twice a year, just an incredible show and acting like you said.

That can't be true. Anne Boleyn was a horrendously ugly black chick.

Thanks for the bump.
It’s been soooo good so far. Love that they were able to get so many of the original cast to come back.

I will say that I miss the original actor for Norfolk as he exuded omnipotence but the new Norfolk might be a closer true representation of the original Norfolk.

Masterpiece indeed!
Got lucky on the 23rd and was just surfing and happened upon it.
Superb acting and great subject matter, Henry the VIII was a SOB.
Also, somehow, someway, thanks to a snow day, me and my 16 y.o. daughter have rekindled that Daddy - baby girl bond over all things PBS’s Great Performance’s at the Met. Operas.
La Bohème is a tour de force, but every performance broadcasted has been mesmerizing.
