The hispanic mother on Orange is the New Black is pretty terrible. Constantly being negative to her kids and telling them they're stupid, leaving them unsupervised to go whore around town, and even letting some gangsta cook drugs in their kitchen.

Let's see, Lori doesn't go look for her husband but instead takes up with her husband's partner and best friend and gets impregnated by him.
Lori then keeps this information to herself.
Lori then manages to not keep an eye on her kid even though they are in the midst of the zombie apocalypse.

and there is way more that I don't have time to go into.

Only one of those is a reason that she is a bad mother. The rest of those just make her a bad spouse. Two completely different things.

Really if you think about it a certain way De'Londa isn't a bad mother at all. She is just misguided. She pushed Namond toward the streets because that's what she thought that she needed to do to help him be a man and learn the skills to survive. Her character was really a commentary on how people in the ghetto see the streets as the only way to support themselves and make a way in the world.
