Anyone started this series yet?

I watched the first episode and enjoyed it. John Hamm is good in that role.

We're all caught up on it and realy enjoying it...

Except when we were looking for a new series, I swore that we were only going to look into fully released series. So I basically said "no" to a bunch of ones my wife suggested. For some reason, I thought this one was fully released, so we had a bad surprise yesterday when we tried to binge it and ran out of episodes.

I've watched the first 3 episodes. This may be my favorite show on TV at the moment.

I like it. Amanda Peet and the writers do a good job making her, if not sympathetic, not loathsome given how her marriage to Hamm ended.

Also I don’t get their current living arrangement. That dude living in Hamm’s house with his ex wife and kids. That’s odd.

I’m liking it. It’s a good show and Hamm is good in it. I like his Asian buddy neighbor. Nice to have a refreshing original show with good acting.

I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes. Looking forward to the 3rd one

It’s hard to watch as a male provider what Amanda Peet does and ends up getting to keep the house and fancy country club and then tells him to get over it
That actually made me so angry. That’s happened to so many men.

Apple TV + was a godsend. The best shows in the last 3 years have mostly come from this channel.

Acapulco
Shrinking
Severance
For All Mankind
Black bird
Drops of God
Slow Horses

He doesn't live there. Peet tells her friends in episode 2 that he's around a lot but she enjoys sending him home. Episode 3 has a dude party that is at his house and features his housekeeper, who has been in the credits as part of the main cast, but who we hadn't seen until ep3.

Yeah, the basketball player is one of the neighbors. So Amanda Peet’s character cheats with a rich ex-NBA player who has a huge house down the street and gets to keep the house. That is ridiculous. And she has a job.

Yes, I hate her character the most of anyone on the show. But, we haven’t found out everything yet and Hamm’s character is not lily white. We don’t know what he may have been up to before the divorce.

With all due respect. What would be so bad that makes the wife frick her NBA neighbor

Zero. No good marriage would seek revenge that way for anything especially considering he’s the main financial provider in the family.

Don’t make Coop pay for Donald Draper’s sins.

We’ve been enjoying it. Solid show so far.

You know stealing one watch of many, that was smart.

But an NBA Champs ring? No! I’m like, that draws way too much attention. I guess maybe it’s just the character. He’s not a pro criminal.

Recall that he woke up in a pool of blood with an unidentified (presumably) dead body. Was that the NBA guy's house? (I didn't go back to compare the opening scene to match the house from the party). If so, wonder if he is the dead body?

Yeah struggling with that as well. I get the spite factor since the dude is boning your wife in your old bed, but it’s the dumbest thing possible to steal. Highly noticeable, extremely unique, and limited value.

Not like the ultimate buyer can just wear it around town like you could a stolen $200k watch.

Previously just stealing one thing was exceptionally smart, as could take a while to notice and the story makes little sense to cops given all the other valuable jewelry left untouched.

Not loathsome? I want to bitch slap her through the TV. Even my wife agrees she’s an absolutely horrific person that we both hate

Coop’s new gal is way hotter and cooler. Her and his ex’s blowup when it’s discovered they’re fricking is gonna be epic

I don’t find it riveting, but I don’t want to give up on it cause I did that with Black Sails and then it got going in later seasons and turned into an epic. Can’t quit on Don Draper too soon anyway. Hamm seems like the kind of actor who wouldn’t sign on for the lead in a flop.

My vote for best streaming series of all currently in production. And that’s high praise considering how good The Pit was in S1.

I do like it, but the premise is dumb and unbelievable.

The dude loses his job. OK he makes a lot of money but has a lot of debt. His business manager tells him he can make it 7 months without working. His boss that fires him tells him they will give him a 6 month severance. That's 13 months. He only has a 2-year non-compete.

He starts robbing his neighbors the first week.
