"Your Honor" on Netflix

This was a Showtime Original a couple years ago but now on Netflix. 2.seasons, 19 episodes.
I binged it this weekend and it has a good plot line and it fits the narrative of NOLA corruption. What I find interesting is that the show was based originally based on an Israeli TV series and obviously adapted for New Orleans based corruption.

this board hated it because "the plotline is full of stupid people and their stupid decisions."

Basically 19 hours of supposedly "smart" people making the dumbest decisions in the service of plot. Great NOLA ambiance though. I'd watch third season.

The season 2 finale is horrible and one of the worst things I’ve ever seen

I was shocked that it got a second season. Watching this show was like slowing down to watch a terrible car accident. Entertaining that they chose to pattern the mob boss couple after Morticia and Gomez.

Agreed on the stupid decisions but that is true if most series where one bad decision lead to another and another. However, for this one that annoying series of events only lasted for the first episode or two in order to set up the rest of the series plot.
I only saw one time where they threw in a fact in the plot at the end that was a cheater on watchers but it did not alter much of everything else in the plot.

The mobster daughter with a chin/jaw of a navy seal
It distracted me in every scene she was in
Season 1 was ok.. season 2 was a slog and I was glad it ended

I've watched 3 episodes...at the end of the third episode last night it suddenly dawned on me that this show is not good...I'm not gonna watch anymore, but I'm guessing that the judge's beta son continues to be the most frustrating character on the show. As a sidenote, I was also infuriated that they didn't have even one character with a true New Orleans/south Louisiana/cajun accent, meanwhile they squeezed every other La. stereotype you can imagine. Thumbs down.

Did they say Laissez les bons temps rouler at any point in the show?

I thought season 1 was super frustrating and season 2 was more entertaining

i didn't even know there was a second season. Is it wrapped up, or is a 3rd season incoming?

Just watched season 2. Episode 1. They chase someone outside of a hotel onto Bourbon Steet & then in the next scene the chase continues at the corner of Oak & Carrollton. How can you possibly screw that detail up?
I’m enjoying the show but anyone who has lived in New Orleans can poke lots of holes in the plot & details. A New Orleans mob boss with a last name of Baxter? A black female leading the “Desire crew”? 2 white teenagers in an accident with each other in the 9th ward? I can go on & on.

I liked it at first but too much stuff started happening

My gf and I started it and it was going great until Big Mo stepped in and other dumb shite started happening. We gave up. It's trying to be BB in NOLA and this show isn't close.

She looked every bit her father's daughter. I can't think of an example of better casting in terms of gene propagation.

I’m on season 2 & on the part where Little Mo drives to Houston to see Eugene. There was a shot of an interstate sign that said “Houston 24 miles” with mountains in the background. lol

I caught that with the mileage sign & the mountains in the background also. That is completely unacceptable. All they had to do was make the sign & place it on an interstate in a flat area to make that realistic. Not hard at all. That is mind boggling that they screwed that up
