According to Far Out
Far Out Article

I think it’s a great list. I agree and love every song except 2 (Gang of Four and Dry Cleaning) only because I don’t know much about them

Do you agree?
What would you delete and/or add?

Talking Heads – ‘Once In a Lifetime’

Siouxsie and the Banshees – ‘Spellbound’

Public Image Ltd – ‘Public Image’

Gang of Four – ‘Damaged Goods’

Joy Division – ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’

The Strokes – ‘Reptilia’

Dry Cleaning – ‘Scratchcard Lanyard’

The Cure – ‘A Forest’

New Order – ‘Ceremony’

Echo and the Bunnymen – ‘The Killing Moon’

I'd go with She's Lost Control from Joy Division over Love Will Tear Us Apart.

And, is The Public Image actually post punk?

Public Image is the textbook example of a post-punk song. Johnny Lydon wrote it after he left the Sex Pistols.

I would ditch the Strokes song (I love it, it was a go to on the Red Star jukebox) and replace it with “I Am the Fly” by Wire.
