For those unaware, they're often described a grungegaze which I think is a good description. Their first album came out in 2013 but fits in perfectly with the early 90s grunge/alt rock scene. Second album leans a little more shoegazey. Anyway they were broken up for a while but got back together recently and just put out a new album. I think fans of bands like Hum or Failure or maybe early Pumpkins would probably enjoy it

Yeah, I would've been all over this in the mid '90s. Had a lot of bands coming out with a similar sound. You've mentioned a few already in addition to Samiam, Fretblanket, Seaweed, Gruntruck, etc.

Yes, I dig the new album. It's maybe not as slowcore as their first album, but still a fun listen.
