I forget her name but some woman had a minor hit song with the same title in the mid 80s if I'm remembering right

There are family videos from back in the 80’s of me dancing to this song. I guess I was slightly obsessed with it as a small child. Hadn’t heard it for years and when my grandmother died, I had to drive her car back home to get some stuff, 3 hours away, and found this CD in her console.

I found the lyrics online. If they are correct, he is saying "C'est pa ça!" which Google translates to "That's not it!" Maybe a better translation is I'm not done/we're not done.

I think every 80's kid in S Louisiana knows this song
The Cajun expression is just slang, it loosely translates to "that's not nice" but its more of just an expression to go along with the music

Denise Lasalle.
I taught a Scottish lass the Cajun jitterbug to that song in a club in Stornaway, isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides. Summer of ‘85.

Fais pa ca
means Dont do that
my very Cajun grandmother got very angry at me singing this song in 1989 when I was about 17years old.
confused I asked her what she was mad about, she said dont say that stuff, its ugly
so even more confused I tried to explain the song lyrics to her and then she said OHHHHH its Toot Toot not tu-tut
I said what is tu-tut and she wouldnt answer.
later a very pretty cajun GF showed me her tu-tut and we had a great time pairing my pimon and her tu-tut into a winnng combination
