Caught them tonight in Cincinnati. Fantastic! Jeff Lynne at 76 still giving it all he’s got. Definitely recommend seeing this if you can.

Is he using the same band that he had in the concert that was filmed in London at Wembley Stadium about 5 years ago?

Going to check them out in Nashville in October.

I saw them (ELO) in Chicago in '76, '79 and 81.

Its the same instrumental setup, not sure if the same musicians. Sounded flawless.

Saw them in Houston. Toyota Center was packed. Great concert.

Mike Stevens put together the band for the Wembley 2017 concert. Since then he's put together the line-up for Jeff Lynne's 2018 and 2024 tours. The core of the touring band is Stevens' band Big Horizon. They do an amazing job of supporting Lynne, stepping in when needed due to his advanced age, but never stepping on his vocals.

Jeff is no longer playing electric guitar on the tour, he's on acoustic now. Lynne and Stevens' goal was to put together a large enough band that they wouldn't have to rely on recorded music, so you have double keyboards, triple lead guitars, etc. Add the string section and you have the layered sound that Lynne was famous for on his early recordings.

The US tour is wrapping up, they've announced a final show in London in 2025, and are adding some dates in the UK prior to that.
