Bush - Everything Zen, Comedown
Pearl Jam - Once, Daughter
Nirvana - Rape Me, Breed
Toadies - Possum Kingdom
Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
Temple of the Dog - Hunger Strike
Collective Soul - December, Shine
Nirvana's unplugged and Live's Throwing Copper are great all the way through, I'd list every track

This would definitely be one of mine. The unplugged version of this is great, it just has a mood about it that reaches me

OMG SOOO many. I was in college when the grunge era hit but that music resonates with me so much more than anything prior to that.
Pretty much anything Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Temple of the Dog, Mad Season, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Pearl Jam, some but not all Nirvana (although I think their entire Unplugged set was awesome). I'm still trying to like Mother Love Bone but I struggle with it. Jane's Addiction, Sublime, Garbage. I'll throw in some Puddle of Mudd too, although I haven't heard their entire catalog.

The Whole SINGLES Soundtrack
First CD I ever bought. I took the money I made working the summer between my sophomore and junior year of college and bought a Sony boombox - it was kind of a component stereo, the speakers could detach - and that album.

I'm suprised Live doesn't get mentioned more in these posts. Their first 3 albums were great.

Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box
Nirvana - You Know You're Right
Soundgarden - Jesus Christ Pose
Oleander- Why I'm Here
AIC - Rooster
Hole - Doll Parts
A very slight sampling.
Edit: missed the "hits" part. I think these were all hits (at least on the Rock chart).
