Forgotten Bands of the 2000’s

Which band (rock or otherwise) that was somewhat successful and known in the 2000’s, do you feel has largely disappeared from the public consciousness? In other words, people who were around during that era may remember them, but only if someone specifically asked them about that band. The bands that kind of slip through the cracks of time.
Here is my submission, the band Dark New Day. They were a hard rock supergroup formed in 2004, featuring members that had been in bands like Sevendust, DoubleDrive, Stereomud, Stuck Mojo, Virgos Merlot, etc. Their lead singer Brett Hestla had been the touring bass player for Creed at one point.
They released their debut album, Twelve Year Silence, in 2005, and after that, released an EP and two more albums. They haven’t released anything since 2013 though. I don’t know if these guys will ever get back together and record new music, and it would be a shame because they are so talented and cohesive as a band.

They put out a new album every few years .. sure they’ve fallen off from the “ sex on fire” days but they’re very much around still.
