My mom told me they played Turn, Turn, Turn at her brother's funeral so now that song gives me a lot of feels.

Strange this is posted today. My dad passed away on this date six years ago. We did a slideshow with an instrumental of "Whiter Shade of Pale". Gets me every time.

A vocal trio performed "How Great Thou Art" at my grandfather's funeral. It was his favorite hymn and to this day it is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard

My siblings and I played this for my Dad as he passed away in a hospital bed...and again during the photo slideshow at his memorial service. It was one of his favorite songs: Peaceful Easy Feeling

My dad was staying at the hospital with my Grandfather the night before he passed and he was muttering the lyrics to the song in his sleep. Played it at his funeral. When you think about the lyrics of the song it's pretty surreal...
