Right in time for Father's Day!
Favorite song so far is Hunting by Yourself.
As a girl dad, I wish he would have daughter so these songs could be more relatable, but still can't wait to go home today and cut the grass and listen to all of them!

Of all the country stars out there, Luke Combs never has any drama revolving about him. He’s steady as an arrow.

Country has very likely the lowest ratio of stars with drama.

Yea, I think I read somewhere where he does and is what he did first. I believe he has also written a bunch of songs for other singers.

I heard he wrote most of these.
Specifically he said that he wrote Take Me Out To The Ballgame because he said he wrote the rest of the songs about kids having good relationships with their dads that he wanted one for the boys who didn’t have that special relationship ship.

He's a great voice and has the country-boy aura down pat. He's put out some stellar songwriting efforts ("Hurricane", "She Got The Best of Me", etc). But I do think he has fallen into the current music (not just country genre) trap of "put out content....even if none is great" rut. Technology and musical talent has made putting out a polished song almost effortless. However just because it's hi-fi doesn't mean the songs are great. As much as we hate the label guy saying "I don't hear a single"....the industry has overcorrected from that extreme and now we get a lot of fantastic sounding, forgettable songs.
