I know there are some Hatchet fans that play around here. I’m an old dude in my 50’s but man this song played a big part in my high school days. Good friend of mine had a Mustang that we drove around, drinking beer too. I’m looking for a specific instrumental version that I can’t find on Spotify. Any help. All there shite is good by the way.

Flirting with Disaster is one of the Greatest Rock songs ever written.

Any details on that? There is an acoustic version on youtube from the Devil's Canyon album LINK eta: they have a different singer on this version, not Danny Joe Brown
Damn good song, that and Flirtin with Disaster

But like all good bands they rearranged it and played it like they wrote it

Nah, Molly Hatchet's was a remake of the rearranged version that Buddy Miles came up with 1970.

"Just one more morning,
I have to wake up with the blues,
Pull myself outta bed,
Put on my walkin' shoes,
Climb up on a hilltop,
See what I can see,
Whole world's fallin' down,
Right down in front of me"............
Appropriate lyrics in this day and time........

Blast from the past! First ever concert was seeing Buddy Miles (Them Changes) and Three Dog Night at the Kiel in 1972. Thanks for conjuring up an old but great memory
