I know there are a lot of people who hate the band and that's cool, just please don't express that in here, it's been beaten to death.

This is also not meant to be a thread about how the band has gone downhill big time since their reunion.

For those that do like the band what did you think about the MTTS?

For someone that has seen them live, I absolutely love the album. The banter in between songs catches the essence of Blink when they were entering their prime and the quality of the songs sound fantastic.

Arguably my favorite Blink album.

one of my favorite live albums out there, and probably my second favorite blink album (behind enema). it's hysterical.

it really does, which is what makes it so great. not many live albums have the banter in between songs, but it fits them so perfectly.

Satan is hilarious. I LOVED this album when I was younger, downloaded it a year ago and still listen to it.

Blink 182 is one of the best pop type bands. Their music is fun, fast, catchy and not too serious

i love how the play all the songs in double time live. there's like 20 songs on that CD, and including the banter the album is only like 50 minutes long. insane

I thought it was great and hilarious in high school, but I've pretty much outgrew their music. I can still take a song or two of theirs here and there, but can't listen to a whole album anymore.

MTTS was funny as hell though.

These guys were very creative, in a vulgar teenager sort of way.

They were perfect for 90's 00's teenage boys to listen to. An album called Take Off Your Pants and Jacket? That was great, not to mention the marketing ploy of different album covers.

I had a friend that bought each one, pants, take off, and jacket.

Its labor day and my grandpa just at 7 fricking hot dogs!

Love it. For what it is, its one of my favorite live albums. I've seen them live and like you said, that album nails it.

See, I want to say that I have outgrown them too, but I've just recently rediscovered them after 6 years and the nostalgic value has me back into them.

Plus, they do have a couple of diamonds in the rough that weren't singles back then on their albums that I can really appreciate this time around.

I've heard a bunch of their bootleg live stuff and they never sounded as good as they did on that record. Can't confirm, but seems like that record was recorded in studio with the audience screaming added later...a little like cheating to me, but I still like the album a lot.

Adam's Song sounds a lot better/more depressing dropped down a half-step like it is on the live album (it was in C/Am on Enema and in B/Abm on the live record).

All in all, it spent a lot of time in my CD player back in 2001.

I don't think the audience was added later. They likely pulled the audio right off the sound board

Just because an album is live doesn't mean it has to sound like someone in the audience recorded it.

Agreed...but you still have the chance to fix any mistakes and redo tracks, taking away from the live aspect.

Fortunately, auto-tune wasn't as prevalent back then as it is now for live shows.

This was my favorite live performance from them. It was part of the Mark Tom and Travis show tour in 2000 in San Diego.

Greatness ensues.

One of my favorite bands, if not favorite band.

Still have this album (Take Off) and still listen to it from time to time.

I'm younger, so when they split, I thought shite, I'm never going to get to see one of my favorite bands live. I was pissed/greatly disappointed.

Then they got back together, and me and my friends drove 12 hours to Houston to see them live on my 21st birthday. Perfection. The Reunion Tour was awesome.

I had a free ticket to see them in Dallas right before they broke up. I actually brought it up to my mom "what if they break up?" and didn't let her live it down for years

Yup, saw them in Dallas in September I think. Solid show.

ETA: I play drums and I've never understood how the frick Travis can play his hats that high.

Yeah that was probably just before/after the Houston show I went to, Sept 24th (now you know my birthday and I expect a present).

Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion or whatever it's called, fricking awesome venue.

Yeah I wanted to go to the Houston show too but it was the day before Dallas and I really couldn't afford to hit on Monday, Dallas on Tuesday, work Wednesday, and hit Dallas again on Thursday for Incubus

Looking back, the Incubus show fricking blew...should've hit the 2 blink shows

One of my favorite albums

Tom - "one thing you guys should know about me is that the more I sweat the sexier I get"
Mark-"don't you mean fatter?"
Tom- "why would I be getting fatter?"
Mark - "bc dog semen is full of calories"
