Can anyone shed some light on this topic? Best options? The city, as usual, isn't providing any details.

You need the city to tell you to park on the street or Uber?

No, you jackass! But with the series of busted windows and stolen cars I'd prefer to park somewhere safe. Sorry, maybe I should've asked an adult, NOT a retard.

Yikes.

Imagine getting triggered over parking and then getting mad at others.

Seems like an adult would have no problem parking their car.

Sorry, Mr. Uppercrust. We can't all be trust fund babies, drinking soy lattes, and driving our Teslas to the Hotworx everyday. I actually care about protecting my vehicle which I had to work hard for.

Well, now I'm not sure if you're serious, especially since your profile says Metry, but ....

Some hotels also run vans if you want to research. Just park in a garage somewhere and ride the rest of the way.

Park wherever you want, put a Club on the steering wheel and leave the windows rolled down, obviously with nothing of value in the car.

Park by Pan American Stadium and catch the shuttle bus.

I have done that several times. The only time it didn’t work was before the Elton John concert when they were so overwhelmed with people the buses couldn’t come close to accommodating everyone. We got our ticket money back and walked down Wisner Blvd to the Fair Grounds.

I park at Cabrini on Esplanade every year. The Dad's Club runs it. It used to be $20 to park there, but prices have continuously gone up and last year I think they charged either $50 or $60. BUT, your car won't get broken into, they have free bathrooms, hamburgers/hotdogs, beer, and snacks for the kids. So I will continue to pay it.

Then you shouldn’t park it in New Orleans. This is common sense.

This is as good of a spot as you can find other than parking in the VIP spots within the Fairgrounds.

OP, if you go early enough, there are free parking spots to be found within City Park and it's not a bad walk. Some areas(such as in front of the Museaum of Art, will probably have security trying to not let you park.
Parking along the street on City Park Ave is usually a good bet.

I sometimes just park along Bayou St John (Moss St on the side across from the Jazzfest side). Either on Moss or in the neighborhood.

From there it's an easy walk across the little bridge. You can cut through the Cabrini parking lot and get some cheap food and even cheaper drinks. There are some port-o-lots there in case you need to pee before going to get in lines for the fest.

Have fun.

If you just park in City Park right in the parking lots near Cafe Du Monde/Storyland/City Park Putt Putt you should be good. I always park in there and it's almost always not completely crowded and it's easy enough getting in and out.

Not really. If so, then you may have a tough time at Jazz fest.

it’s less than a mile from cafe dumonde to the esplanade entrance to the fairgrounds. Easy place to park and you can jet out the back way and clear most of the traffic getting out
