Questions about White Oak Music Hall in Houston

Is the upgrade to one of the balconies worth it at White Oak Music Hall on the lawn?
Also is pre-purchasing parking necessary for a fairly popular concert?

I can’t speak to the balcony experience but there’s not really a bad spot on the lawn. You absolutely need a parking pass if you’re driving. The location is pretty much in a neighborhood and parking without a pass can be impossible.

I don't think the balcony upgrade is worth it but you do need to pre-purchase parking.

people sell parking in their lot in the neighborhood so you can but if you are already planning on driving, might as well just buy the pass.

I've never done upgrades for any of their shows, but the downstairs stage has plenty of GA floor space.
I was able to park nearby on the street for a recent lawn show at White Oak around 6pm, but that street filled up within minutes of me arriving. Being a lawn show it also started earlier than an indoors one likely would, but Raven Tower next door is a solid place to pre-game if you get there early and don't want to enter the venue yet.
Basically, if you aren't getting the parking pass you should get there plenty early enough to park in a nearby lot or find street parking. Or Uber from somewhere else.
