Seating at Red Rocks

Looking to make a trip there next year, are there any bad seats? GA is 1/2-1/3 the price of back sections. Is it worth the extra money to buy non GA tickets?

i always buy GA at RR and elsewhere. last thing i want at a show is dealing with "these are MY seats!" people who show up late, dont stand, dont move down and make room and dont know how to manage at a show.
GA seating always results in more room for everybody. Plus, red rocks is pretty much a watch where you want type venue

Imo, rows 25-40 are the best to see a show at red rocks. Normally, only the first few rows are reserved, everything else is GA

Thanks for the info.
It's saying 1-44 are reserved I guess. 45-70 are GA.cant imagine a few rows is worth an extre $100-$200 ea.

No, there's a bathroom at the lower right side now. Also, the lower seats are a shitshow but they are much better and closer, especially if there are no screens at the show.

True but you still have to climb back to your seats. If you are going to be chugging beer and going to the pisser multiple times I’d suggest sit up high or closer to the bottom. Middle sections are brutal to get to and from a bathroom. Maybe it’s because I’m not acclimated to the higher altitude or getting older, but those stairs are no joke

Once you get past row 20 there are diminishing returns. The sound is still great, but visually you won't get to see much of the band. That said, the overall atmosphere of seeing the full view is stunning.
It really depends what you want to get from a concert. I like being close enough to watch them play the instruments. If that's not important to you, then you'll enjoy it from anywhere.

Who you going see? I just bought tickets for Shane Smith and 49 Winchester.

I don't really need to be that close, just want to go and enjoy the show. I've seen them plenty from very close.
Jason Isbell. I've been wanting to go to RR and the wife has some family up there we have been wanting to visit. Hate the politics, like a lot of the older music. Always a good show.
