Suggest a Pandora station for 50s/60s themed cocktail party or band suggestions?

looking for some groovy stuff, not necessarily straight lounge music but something that properly captures that era.

pandora is probably not the place to go for this though..

so what you got?

There's a gentleman named Kafka somewhere around here. I believe that's who you're looking for.

There is a Mitch Miller station on Pandora. He was a producer and originator of the 50's "pop" sound.

Then you could do a Patsy Cline station for the 50s country music

Dizzy Gilespie station for 50s jazz.

Kingston Trio for 50s Folk.

Harry Belafonte for his huge Calypso hits in the 50s.

Blues/ rock.....Fats Domino, Chuck Berry

All that crosses into early 60's. You could throw some Beatles and Elvis in there...

Nina Simone - Pastel Blues

I like a station called Hipster Cocktail Party. With some editing you can eliminate the newer stuff and have a pretty steady of diet of music from that genre.
