21-years-ago.
100 dead. 230 injured.
Start to finish. All known circulating footage.
One hour and 23 minutes.

For those who don't know, this fire was started by pyrotechnics inside the club during the first song of Great White's set.
The camera-mans reaction! His spider-sense kicked in real quick!
Video is not gruesome. But you can hear screams from the dying.

I couldn’t believe what I was watching the next day when the video started rolling in. It was horrific. Has to be one of the most terrifying ways to die. I haven’t seen this in a while. Thanks for posting.

Currently reading the book about it.

The frontman of Great White really showed how terrible of a human being he is with how he handled this post fire and for many years thereafter

For the record, his lawyer told him not to apologize. It could possibly make him look guilty. He did finally make an apology. 15-years-later...
He's also working on a documentary about that night. It might be out already.

I read a book about this years ago. There’s a darkly funny passage where the singer of Great White shambles out of the darkness and asks a bunch of shell shocked firefighters “…did everyone make it out okay?” and they just stare at him.
