Last night was the second time I’ve seen them…. And the second time they’ve blown me away. Besides the fact that they’re very talented. What makes these guys so good?

Maybe it’s just me. But I feel they compose songs brilliantly. So that they take on more than the original song live.

Anyone else agree or disagree?

They’re coming to Shreveport next year, and they just added a second show. I’m not real familiar with them, but they are apparently popular.

Was there last night as well. As musicians, they are definitely top notch. I tend to prefer their slower stuff. Ballard of a Southern Man, Virginia, Stone, Broken Window are just outstanding songs. It is about time for some new stuff from them.

Those were the ones I was going to suggest as well.

Mud is my favorite. Plus they jam on some songs and extend them.

guy can't sing

(irritating and nasally - plus these songs require man sized vocals)

Second time for me as well and they rocked it!

I like all of their music, but I can really feel their slower sad songs. Colloquy and Song For You tug hard.

Rip and Beth dancing while they played Stone was a great moment on Yellowstone.

Bless you my friend. Not one of their more popular ones, but that song has it all....

Reckoning is one of the saddest songs of all time. Dude loses his wife, can’t get over it, can’t drink and drug himself numb enough, so he blows his brains out on her grave.

Was there last night. Loved how they opened the show with "Frogman." "Bury My Bones" was another favorite.

They had a ton of fun on stage. I love Cody Cannon's voice.

They typically play theaters and bigger these days, so I'm sure it was nice being in an intimate venue like Texas Club.

The sound quality was perfect. Texas Club brought in PSS Sound. They definitely do not skimp sound.

Bones Owens was a great opening act.

One of the best shows I've ever seen.

Probably my all around favorite musical act, and saw them live tonight for the first time after about a 2 year delay bc of COVID. They were absolutely amazing. Their stage presence and energy were top notch. I agree that Reckoning should be in there set list, and Colloquy is one of my favorite songs but it’s a super deep cut like Dogwood.

Can’t wait to see them again.

When I heard Strange Dreams, I actually thought it was an Oh Well(Fleetwood Mac) cover. Otherwise, I think they are kinda good.

They’re been great for almost a decade now and are just now making it to a lot of people due to being in Yellowstone. It’s amazing how many people don’t get out of the mainstream.
