We all have albums that we have been listening to our whole lives, usually starting with what our parents listened to. I'm asking for you personally, whether you discovered it or a friend recommended it, what album has lasted with you the longest.

For me, I've been playing For Squirrels 'Example' at least twice a year in it's entirety since 1996. I'm not sure why it grabbed me then and still today. Their back story is tragic as the vocalist and bassist died in a car accident just weeks before this album was to be released. The video for 'Mighty KC' was played on 120 Minutes a few times, but that was pretty much all the run the album received.

Mighty K.C.

The best song on the album in my opinion:

Disenchanted

Gotta be Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard. I’ve been jamming to that masterpiece since 7th grade.

Some close ones would be Jimi Hendrix Are You Experienced, Led Zeppelin 1, Blackbird by Alter Bridge, Revelations by Audioslave, Light Grenades by Incubus, Ten by Pearl Jam, American Idiot by Greenday, and Echos, Silence, Patience, and Grace by Foo Fighters

I actually didn't get around to the Beatles and Pink Floyd until adulthood, but almost certainly Abbey Road, Sergeant Pepper and Let it Be, as well as DSOTM, WYWH and Animals are up there for number of spins, as are the Tool albums Undertow, Ænima and Lateralus.

As for albums I've been listening to since I was a kid? Boston - Boston, AC/DC Highway to Hell and Back and Black, Def Leppard High n' Dry and Pyromania.

It's got to be Led Zeppelin II. I couldn't have been more than 7 the first time I heard it and I still listen to it 40+ years later.

I never seem to get enough of Big Star, particularly the #1 Record / Radio City compilation.

Probably the 10,000 Maniacs Unplugged album. Bought it the day it came out in 1994ish, and it's been in regular rotation since. Pearl Jam's Ten would be in the mix as well.
