Guns N Roses-Appetite for Destruction. It was the first true beginning of the death of hair bands & grunge then delivered the kill shot about 3 years later. It was a breath of fresh air to the scene & changed the game.

So true, even the hair bands quit wearing neon spandex after this in an attempt to toughen up their image.

The Who Live at Leeds... hearing a band live without the dubbing and mixing gives you a great idea of their ability.

I know it’s cliche, especially in the jazz world, but Kind of Blue by Miles Davis.

When I heard it at 17 years old I realized I’d never heard anything like it. I was raised on rock music but Miles opened my mind to what else might be out there. Im 51 years old and my eyes and ears are still wide open.
