Wtf... This should be a crime.

It’s not on TIDAL anymore either.

Cultural appropriation for using the name of Zebra. Did they even ask permission?

Looks like it's missing from Spotify as well.
Randy has been doing free shows on Facebook since covid started. He will sometimes respond to fan questions. Maybe you can ask him on there.

I can still get to it (sometimes) on Spotify but some songs, tracks 2, 4, 6 and 9, aren't available.
On Amazon if you click streaming next tot eh album, it takes you to completely different music.
My guess is either a glitch or some sort of licensing/rights issue that has expired and needs to be addressed. Maybe ownership of the masters has changed. If so, I hope Randy is the beneficiary of that.

Still in my top 10 albums of all time. Love that album.

For some reason I didn't realize until reading this thread and looking up the record and some songs, that Dream Theater did a cover of "Take Your Fingers From My Hair" on Black Clouds & Silver Linings. The 2nd half of it is covers from their influences. Other songs covered are from Rainbow, Queen, Iron Maiden, King Crimson, Steve Morse/Dixie Dregs.

Damn, that’s high praise when Dream Theater is covering your tune.

Bumping this because a NOLA friend of mine just sent me this - Zebra with the Acadiana Symphony playing "Take Your Fingers From My Hair". WOW. It's breathtaking, and absolutely thrilling when they all take off together, especially around 6:40 mark.

I'm dying for them to put this out on Blu-Ray for a high quality playback!

Zebra was huge in the New England area, particularly Long Island and even Upstate New York. I used to hear them on the radio all the time. I would imagine Mike Portnoy did also. All of the covers from BCASL are great. Stargazer and Tenement Funster in particular.

Randy used to do solo shows at the 19th Hole in Houston.
I remember them mostly from St. Christopher CYO shows though.

I opened up for Zebra at the Howlin Wolf many moons ago, it was pretty awesome.

This is usually due to record label shenanigans.
