What a job by this guy! He’s become a real consistent leader. You know this win against his old lakers and Lebron meant a lot to him. He could have complained years ago but he just went to work and he’s getting better and better. It’s fun to see!

Wonder if LeGM would trade Toni straight up for BI today?

I kinda think he would lol

I think most teams that dont already have a top 10 SF/PF would.

BI, despite his bumps and bruises, at least gives you availability.

And, unlike AD has failed to learn to do, BI can now essentially organize and run an offense at a high level.

AD still needs alphas to create for him, which limits his impact unless you have the right parts around him

What's Ingram's relationship with Lebron?

He hate him like the rest of us?

I know Lakers fans would and do say the trade was worth it because it achieved what it set out to achieve, which is a ring.

But you cant tell me that:

Lonzo
Pope
BI
LeBaby
Harrell

Bench
Hart, Kuzma, Caruso,

Would not be a more long-term competitive, and ultimately end up with more rings than the AD/Lebron + trash + Westbrook route

definitely on the former
cant judge by “rings” though...that part is at least 50% luck

LeGM has forced them to trade a talented, deep roster for a walking injury and a guy who hasn't been a good NBA player in over 5 years.

You never give up a guaranteed championship but that is absolutely a better team now and long term.
