Just started watching the interview. I’m not gonna be negative. Glad Joe was hired and “wants to be in Nola.” However he’s got a big challenge with the talent in the west and the disaster done by his predecessor.

Alright that’s fair. But man, I’d almost rather Willie burn out the first 10 games
cause then we’re gonna be in the next Mike Malone/david finch situation with Borrego. He’ll move on and be light years better than CWG who will digress without him.

I don't disagree, but the hope behind Willie from the beginning always was that he would do the player managing and let others handle the areas he wasn't strong in.
It's probably not going to go well. But as a Pelicans fan making the most of a bad situation is usually the best you can aim for.

That has nothing to do with putting the basketball in the goal and stopping the other team from putting it in their goal
