To me, he is the primary culprit in this loss.

He played superb in the few games leading up to it.

Everyone has a bad game now and then… it’s just when CJ has a bad game, we really feel it because his D is so poor. Can’t be a black hole on both ends and make 30 million +

It feels like his 3 point shooting is really the glue that holds us together. When they're not falling it makes it reeeeally tough

Of course it is.

Him and trey almost have to have an on night for the.pels to win against good teams.

Everyone blames CJ but it’s not really his fault that the team is so reliant on their number three. The coaches and front office have not done enough to build a consistent offensive team. Clearly we need shooters to free up Zion and there’s only 2 we even play. Shooters are streaky. We have to have a second consistent offensive player behind Zion. BI clearly isn’t it though.

McCollum has shot the Pels out of 10+ games this season

More than that he was starting to push the matter and taking some atricious shots. For what is supposed to be our vet presence he can surely make some terrible shot selections.

The sad thing is BI could be it if only he would commit to the three. The few times this season he has made a point to get more threes up, he's looked good and the team had way more spacing. He just wants to force the mid-range, to his and the team's detriment most of the time.

Because they make up 40% of our made 3’s. That’s the biggest problem with the Zion/Ingram pairing. You can’t have your top two playmakers/offensive engines making less than 1.5 3’s per game. It compresses the floor too much and that is exacerbated when we add non-shooting wings and centers to the mix.

The discussion should be why CJ had very few good looks at the 3 pt line.

He is very inconsistent in his shooting... never consistent games across the entire season. He is adequate, but some of the close losses this season was because he is not a steady scorer every game.
