NBA League Pass Black Friday Sale $49.99 for the rest of the season

What you need to know as a Pels fan
- If you live in the Pels viewing area, games will be blacked out. You should be able to get around this with a VPN.
- If the game is nationally televised you will be blacked out even if there is local coverage of the game. I don't know if setting your VPN to out of the country is a work around for this. Can anyone chime in on this?

I did the NBA LP at the beginning of the season. And I do the VPN.
And it all frustrates me to hell and back every time I have to do it.
I live 5 hours away...I'm not driving 10 hours to pop in for a Tuesday night game that's gonna last an hour and a half. Let alone 82 times....blackouts are ridiculous in 2022.

Login to NBA app/website with VPN on. Turn VPN off before watching games.

Just 19 games into the season and they are already giving a huge discount. Will they be giving refunds to people like myself that paid full price for League Pass?
LP has been a mess this year. They didn't auto renew my subscription from last year. I had to create a new account and I also changed my password. Ok fine, then I got in. Then a few days later I couldn't get in to my account. They had changed my current password to my old password. Duh. If I charged them for all the time I wasted dealing with their Help Center, they would owe ME money.
There have been technical issues as well. Like bad audio and video of live games early in the season. And for awhile, during live games, the player control bar was hovering over half of the game clock/shot bar, making it incredibly difficult to see. The player control bar normally disappears after a few seconds but was persisting for the whole game. Then they finally fixed that problem. The archived games still have that issue!!! Last year I was able to watch archived games with the pre-game show and all the commentary during the game. This year there is no pre-game, it goes straight to tipoff. They are doing a sloppy editing job and sometimes some commentary is cut off completely, or partially or not at all. I couldn't watch the Spurs game on Wednesday so I watched the archive yesterday. Sloppy editing as I mentioned, and after the game Jen Hale was interviewing Zion and about 10 seconds into the interview they just cut it off and that was the end.
And the blackouts are always a b*tch. If I am paying for a streaming service, I should be able to watch all games regardless if they are on national TV or NBA TV. The NBA subscription page says that League Pass includes NBA TV. Tonight's game vs the Grizzlies was on NBA TV. I could not get this game in League Pass.
The NBA has screwed up League Pass BIG TIME so far this season. Is that the reason for the big discount so early in the season? Were people getting fed up and cancelling their subscriptions?

Let me just add to my League Pass gripes. I just went into League Pass to check the box score of tonight's game. It is empty!!! It says "no box score data available". Smh.
