I can smell the desperation through my phone.
Guess they trying to get a few suckers before they announce Willie will be back, b/c that’ll end all sales.

Well they seem to have priced out the small fan base they had. Raising prices every year for a mediocre to bad product on the court doesn’t promote ticket sales. Not sure what other markets pricing is but they need to be on the low end until things get better.

I was flabbergasted when I learned that they increased ticket prices after this sewage season. It just shows how out of touch the whole organization is.
I will go to games next year because the game experience is fun. But I'm going to get my tickets off Seatgeek and only go when lower bowl tickets are less than $40, which was a regular occurrence this past year. Unless we get Cooper Flagg, I can't imagine much demand for tickets.

I don't think its being out of touch as much as its also about inflation. I think nearly every team has had increases this past year.

I'm no economist, but they need to lower ticket prices if they actually want to sell tickets. Supply and demand and all that. Surely the ticket reps saw the writing on the wall and reported back to the higher ups and they still increased ticket prices. Good luck with that, babe.

I emailed my rep to let him know I wasn’t renewing, and he acted shocked. He asked, “Why, man? Your seats are great. What’s the problem?”
I don’t envy the position he’s in, but damn, gaslighting customers and acting like the team’s ownership and upper management aren’t driving people away is tone-deaf and wild to me.

Yeah, you have to let them know there's a problem, and if enough people say the same thing, they'll eventually get it.
Voting with your dollars is the biggest thing though. There better not be anybody on this board doing the annual TV subscription instead of the month to month. Being able to cancel that monthly subscription if they go off the rails is about the only way a non ticketholder can send the team a message.

I cancelled my yearly and I’m not even going to do the month to month either. I’ll follow twitter to see what scores are and such, but that’s about the extent of my fandom for now.

I honestly only watched maybe 20 games this past season tops. Just because I post alot and follow along doesn’t mean I have been 100% bought in.
