Your wish be granted and your suffering will continue.

BI will be extended this off-season and that's the HONEST TRUTH ™. Only change that will happen is getting a new cheap center. Griffin will blame everything on injuries and in about a month you idiots will believe everything again soon with this franchise chances of being successful.

DRIVEMAN OUT!

If BI is on the roster by the start of next season I'm done. No point following the team because I know they wont do shite

Definitely understandable. Maybe a good thing since less eyes/support can inspire change.

BI can be on the roster; it just can't be on a Max contract.

I don’t know man. Personally I think he needs to be off the team.

I started following the saints in 1988 as a kid and my disgust with the franchise and Dennis Allen has me completely done with them for theast two years.

Quitting the pels won't be hard if they show they're just as inept as the Saints are now.

As I get older I just don't care to waste my time for stupid franchises

Since he has returned, it has truly been some of the most disgusting basketball I have ever seen played by a player being considered for a max contract.

Realistically, what will his contract look like if not max.
I agree he can’t* be given the max, and his play in the playoffs has severely affected what he will be worth.
Does anyone have an idea what that will be now?

Hes barely worth what he makes now, and I can make an argument he deserves less.

I’m not really sure who is worse to keep. Always hurt and always missing the playoffs Zion isn’t the answer, either

We need some new blood and be forced to put Trey in the starting line up and THAT’S THE REAL FACTS!

What would be the actual difference in giving him the max vs 20m a year? You aren’t signing a FA that fixes your problems with those savings, so that doesn’t help you get better. Keeping him in any capacity just kicks the can down the road. We need a shakeup of the roster.

I was ok with the franchise taking data this season on the current roster as injuries had prevented our top players from logging many minutes together. You could postulate and pontificate that it wouldn't work (congratulations) but IRL you can't just get frustrated and break things without giving them a chance.

Ok, now you have a good sample size. And five seasons overall with Zion and Brandon. That's enough to make a decision. If that decision is to sign Brandon to a max contract and make his pairing with Zion the basis of the roster going forward, you've totally lost me.

Pels have allowed and perhaps encouraged Brandon to be the center of this roster. But on the court, his game does not fit the modern NBA or complement Zion. Now it seems they may want to hold on to him for culture reasons, or they're afraid they would lose the team if they traded him. However, this same guy is the one who--unlike CJ--won't change his game, who from several reports, wouldn't accept the offense they tried to bring in this year.

It seems with Brandon the tail wants to wag the dog and the Pels have let him think he can get away with it. But he's not that good, not that efficient and doesn't fit with your true star.

For all those reasons, he needs to go. You're not going to be able to take a a true step forward to building a contender around Zion so long as he is here.

Pay them all based on per game played production. No play, no pay. Minimum wage for practice and training time.
Pro sports has become beyond messed up.

Then stop following it and commenting on it. The more publicity you give and the more games you watch- leads to them getting money. So if you really feel like pro sports is messed up then stop giving attention, viewership and your money to them. Otherwise, don’t complain about how they’re paid if you’re not willing to do these things because technically you’re part of the problem.

You think it's bad now, imagine how bad they would frick up starting from scratch without first overall picks and major trade pieces . Lol
