You know what that means.

Not necessarily, wonder if they may be cutting ties due to the injuries

I think it's just as likely they made promises about endorsement deals that couldn't be kept because Zion couldn't keep himself on the court, or like Soggy said, they may be dropping him.

I see only two scenarios:
1) He's looking / team is ready to move on
2) He is such a terrible client CAA feels like they can't do anything with him.
Either way, his days of making 100's of millions of dollars are becoming very VERY limited.

It's probably all of the above. He's probably more work than he's worth to represent at this point. His marketability is shot and his weight clause is getting more and more attractive.

I think it's ridiculous that all of this bullshite is coming out during the game.

Friday after business hours is when everyone dumps information they don't want becoming news.

They’re reporting Zion and his crew may be pissed as the contract may be an issue due to Zions health issues. It was interesting that Zion agreed to it in the first place.

It's all related. Zion is being immature and posted a video that makes him look terrible, so CAA had enough and fired his arse.

So, they still have no self awareness? His world is going to have to fall apart for him to change. I would either trade him or cut him before next season. I seriously think using his contract to cut him may be the only way he ever sees the light.

Zion is embarrassing CAA
They need to distance themselves

Not necessarily. Him randomly talking to the local media this morning is different. Like he knew shite was coming and he was trying to get out ahead of it and says he's rehabbing fine.

Did he move on or did they lol

I think this is more CAA dropping Zion. They thought they had the next marketing gold mine and now he’s old news and fat.
Like every company that’s done marketing deals with Zion have to be pissed. I guarantee you Jordan brand is livid. No one is buying the shoes of a fat part time basketball player

There is no reason to drop him man. Agencies dont drop players even if they commit crimes. This is Zion.

And what does Zion do for them? No one is lining up to do marketing deals for a part time basketball player. He’s not getting another max contract in his career. He’s more headaches for them at this point

I promise you, CAA wasn't fighting too hard to keep him. They only get paid for new contracts, and those are drying up.

Look Zion is an idiot. But an agency is not looking to lose or drop players- its not a good look for business. You keep players even the idiots like Zion.

People bending over backwards trying to make this reflect as poorly on Zion as possible lmao. Yeah, like a damn sports agency is cutting ties with a $200M athlete cause he’s injury prone. That sounds reasonable to me.
