I’m fine with the pick. The risk is appropriate. It’s just a 2nd round pick.
We need another QB. Cheap, if possible.
Want a young QB? You already have one. His name is Spencer Rattler.
Want a different QB? Who? Saints fans would hate any of them and you know it.
Wanted Shough later? He wouldn’t be there. Don’t kid yourself. He would not.
QB is the most important position. Keep picking them until you get one that works. It’s worth the risk.

So with this pick, we have to get a WR and RB this draft, right? Probably a TE too.
I could see us trading up to get Tre Harris, Higgens, Royals, Bech or Ayomanor if WRs start coming off the board. You can’t bring in the QB and not provide him weapons.
