If shedeur sanders name was Benny Williams and he put up those same stats half of you fools would be drooling saying he’s our guy .. y’all have really convinced your small minds that this kid sucks because of who his dad is and all the attention he brings just call a spade a spade

I think Sanders and Mac Jones are actually good comparisons. I would be happy with a Mac Jones type prospect in the 3rd, but not in the top round.

My opinion on Sanders is that it's annoying how much people are talking about the person and not the player, and that is basically what you're talking about.
That said, the player isn't the best. He is not bad, but he has a lower ceiling than I want in a high-pick QB. IMO his ceiling is around Brock Purdy. He is a good processor but he holds the ball too long and he is below average traits-wise. Not tall enough, not very athletic, and mid-tier arm at best. If a team drafts him they need to have a very specific plan for how he is used. I would like him in a Shanahan-style offense a la 49ers, Dolphins, or Klint Kubiak, but for us, I'm not into it.

I think Mac Jones at his best can be an Andy Dalton in Cincy type of guy. He can be good enough if you have a good team around them. But I think most people want something better than that...a QB who raises the floor of the whole team, who elevates, and who is special in tough moments. I'd rather take a guy who is a bigger risk of busting but has a higher ceiling due to arm and athletic traits, a la Dart or Milroe
