Damar Hamlin died in 2022 and played more than Michael Thomas last season

It’s crazy how bad we were at WR in 2021 when Calloway was basically our #1 receiver.

Marquez Calloway and Tre’Quan Smith at WR is certainly not a recipe for success.

WR room is weak.

OL is weak.

That's been the story so far.

This reminds me of when Payton used to bring back Travaris Cadet for what seemed like 10 years in a row.

Those are two different levels of bad. We won our first playoff game with Haslett. Ditka was, well, a lot worse.

We have some talent on our team and won’t be that bad. But I’m not sure we win more than 7 to 8 games with this schedule and coaching staff. If Calloway is our 4th or 5th wideout, then that’s a good roll for him.

Is it bad that the first thing you think when you see a WRs name is "wasn't he a really good blocker?"

I remember thinking he might be good and then thinking down the road that He wasn't coming along as I'd hoped. Am I thinking of the wrong person, I'm getting older and sometimes things run together in the old brain.

The team is better than people think. New coaches will make a difference. Carmichael had no idea how to use Kamara.

I'm hoping we score more and our secondary leaves teams with no choice but slow methodical drives.

Sincerely,
Posi-Saint

Agreed, this team will be better than people think, especially if Kubiak shines. I think Carolina has last place in the division wrapped up already but there is no 1-3 order between NO/ATL/TB that would surprise me. Once you make the playoffs anything can happen, look how close Tampa was to playing in the NFC Championship last year.
