Derek Carr is 33 Years Old. Will he start and win a playoff game before he retires?

In Derek Carr's lone playoff start, he led the Raiders to one Touchdown Drive (AFC Wild Card against Bengals in January 2022).
Will Derek Carr finish his season with as many Playoff Wins as Bobby Hebert (0), Aaron Brooks (1), or will he put himself in the conversation with legends like Jim Everett/Wade Wilson/Chris Chandler and finish with 2+ Playoff wins.
Chime in below on how many playoff wins that you believe Derek Carr finishes his career with.

This year imo is a make or break year for Carr. If the Saints don’t make the playoffs this year then I think we start a major rebuild which all but guarantees he will never have a playoff win

People were mocking Mark Sanchez in the game thread but Sanchez is 4-2 in the playoffs and has a career record over .500
Carr has had a pretty sad career in that respect

We will keep him for 2024 and 2025 where he will not make the playoffs.
A new coaching staff will come in for the 2025 season.
Matt Stanford will retire and we will trade Carr to the rams for a third and fifth and send LA our sixth. He will go on to win several playoff games and make it to one divisional round playoff game before retiring.

Not as a Saint, I think this will be his last year in a Saints uniform.

Zero because of Dennis Allen.

Guess it depends if the defense can carry us to a few extra wins.

Derek Carr is Matt Ryan 2.0. Looks top 10 with a good offensive line but looks bottom 10 with a bad offensive line.

I thought he was a bad announcer. He wasn't a bad QB, he just ended up in bad situations, IMO. It doesn't help that his most memorable moment was the Butt Fumble.

No QB looks good with a bad OLine.

His contract says otherwise. Saints are already $100M over next years projected cap. Carr has a $51M projected cap hit and trading him “only” saves $11M. I’ll get DV for saying, but they’ll restructure his 2025 #s to keep more money down the road and we’ll have him at least through 2025. Depending on how much ML needs to screw up the 2026 cap during this offseason will have more of a determining factor if Carr is here for 2026 than Carr’s actual infield production

This team is built to compete with everyone and the hope is to win the division. They were 9-8 last season and an early Blake Grupe miss in Green Bay (I was there) from being 10-7. But that’s the NFL. That’s the NFC South.
I think the Saints will be a good football team at full strength. I don’t think they will ever get blown out by anyone. They will play close games and it will come down to how they can finish those games. It’ll come down to special teams a lot (not too confident).
But I have a real hard time with Derek Carr hate. We’re spoiled fans. We cannot hate Derek Carr for who he is as a QB and what the NFL QB market dictated he get from his team. Carr was the very best option at QB that helped this team stay the course.
I believe that Derek Carr can lead the Saints to a Division Championship. And that should be all we ask for—from that point, you either get a bye and/or host a home playoff game. It’s all flip of the coin at that point.
Saints CAN win 11 to 12 games. But the margins are so razor thin in the NFL that I think they will max at 10. Can that win this division? I hope so.
