Plays like Taysom Hill. Easily get him a later round.

Is he going to serve right out of school though?

He may not be available for a few more years.

I think if Service Academy players get drafted, they are allowed to try it.
ETA: Athletes attending the nation's military academies can now seek waivers to play professional sports immediately upon graduation. Previously, a federal rule required them to fulfill two years of a five-year military commitment before turning pro, but players who enrolled in 2019 or earlier were exempt from this rule

I’m sure every team would love a Taysom Hill and has been on the lookout for one for the last decade, but the reality is that Sean Payton probably found a unicorn of a kind that won’t be seen again any time soon.

If they are good enough to play in the pros right out of college, the service academies allow it.
David Robinson was the most recent top player that was let out of a commitment with the US Navy.

Dailey looks like a Taysom Clone.

Funny I told my wife the very same thing last night. First player I've seen that ran and played like Hill. Throws a lot less though. Will see in a few years.

I said this exact same thing yesterday

He gets drafted. He will be at training camp.

Negative
There was a short period where they could defer their commitment. Unless it has been changed again it is up to the particular branch of service. Right now with numbers low it would be a bad look to allow him to defer. I still think you consider drafting him late.

and pray things go well in the middle east.

If he’s got potential the Army would rather him be a NFL star.

I think they just changed the rule for deferments but idk if they changed it back

Hopefully he can average more than 6 touchdowns per year.
