Drafting of Banks led me thinking about Willie Roaf

after 8 seasons where dude was all pro, we traded willie roaf for a 3rd round pick to KC where he was still all pro for 3 of 4 years.
I know there was drama about something with joe horn and something with joe johnson, i don't know if we ever know the entirety of the truth but what the frick were we thinking trading william roaf for a 3rd!

Horn ran a train on Roafs Wife.
Divided the locker room.
1/2 said Big Wille shouldnt have been with that girl, thats on him because she is that type of girl, the other half said Horn was wrong for what he did.
Traded him over night.
Yeah.
The baby girl, was said to be Horns daughter.
Said Big Willie, Nearly Killed him.

3 reasons we were probably lucky to even get a 3rd for Roaf:
He was coming off of a major knee injury at 32 at a time when knee injuries were still pretty much career changing
He was demanding a new contract
He was demanding out of New Orleans immediately and said he'd retire if he wasn't traded which tanked his value.
