Louis Riddick said he's going to surprise the NFL this year and throw for throw his arm talent is as good as anyone in this draft.

I know his pro day wasn't hot, but a lot of QBs that had solid NFL careers had bad pro days. He has the toolkit to make the throws and maybe Kellen Moore and company can help get him there. We'll just have to trust the process until we can't.

I can't think of an unsuccessful QB ever being successful in the NFL.
This feels like an Anthony Richardson pick minus any of the potential upside.

quote:How was Tyler Shough unsuccessful? He threw for 3200 yards, 23 TDs with 6 INT last year for 9-4 Louisville. Was he less "successful" in college than Dak Prescott, Josh Allen, Brock Purdy, or Pat Mahomes?

All I see is a QB who’s going to take tons of hits and won’t last. Back foot throwing b****

Shough’s team mate WR Ja’Corey Brooks would not be a bad additio to take a flyer on.

Okay, this is a pick that will live in infamy unless the guy does something miraculous. We get it…

Were they 25 years old in college?
Dak was 32-16 in the NFL by age 25, with a ROY, two Pro Bowls, and MVP votes, 2 playoff appearances
Josh Allen was 39-21, Pro Bowl, All Pro, 2nd in MVP voting, 3 playoff appearances in conf championship appearance
Purdy was 23-13, played in a SB and Conf Championship game, pro bowl, MVP and OPoY votes
Mahomes was 38-8 with a MVP and Super Bowl by age 25

Dropping some dimes and stepping up in the pocket to bide himself some time. What's not to like?

"Well he does it on a diet of prunes and uses a walker to get around. Did you see his dog? That's a service dog for people who get lost in grocery stores".

Maybe he just doesn’t test well

Isn’t that part of the problem here Dave? Buddy needs to drink some milk

Typically often injured players remain often injured players.

So I've looked at a couple of his films, and dude is better than many here seem to think.
I don't particularly care if he's over 21. If he's good and healthy, he's not retiring at 30.
