Is there still hope for Foskey?

Or is he another wasted 2nd round pick

If there was hope for Zach Baun, there’s hope for Foskey
Might not be with the Saints tho

HE will go be an all pro for the eagles in a couple of seasons.

Year 3 is when you generally expect the lightbulb to come on, and if it doesn't, that's often it
Obviously there are many that took longer, but year 3 is usually the make or break year

Hopefully the scheme change benefits him. At this point it can’t hurt.

Lol, no, and remember him when we draft some "big school, highly productive, high floor" player like Donovan Ezeiruaku at 40

Unfortunately, this is probably right

Yep. Maybe even with NOLA - who knows.
People often forget, but Hendrickson really didn’t do anything his first three years in New Orleans and was really nothing more than a rotational/depth guy his first two.
Once the lightbulb came on, it stayed on.
I’m not saying Foskey and Hendrickson are the same, but it is possible in a new defense something clicks.

I think he will benefit greatly from Staley ... now, I expect nothing from him because he has shown nothing, but I think he is in a position to do something on the field this year.

What about Peyton Turner?
Posted on 4/25/25 at 2:11 pm to yaboidarrell
Having a legitimate DL coach should help him

Payton Turner is now with the Cowboys. What a huge bust that was!

As opposed to a small school, low production low floor guy?

I didn’t like the Fosky pick at all. I really like Ezeriku and hope we get him.
You don’t have a clue….

The new regime gives all of these buried players new life. We shall see.
Kendre Miller looked a whole lot better than I anticipated, considering the games Allen was playing with his availability.

Allen sucked all the talent from every rookie and somehow redistributed it to scrub defensive backs. Foskey was as pedigreed as they come. School sack leader, athleticism off the charts, young and hungry, team captain. Somehow, he was unable to record barely any stats in the season. Yet he had journeyman DBs and UDFAs starting games in the defensive backfield. Has to be some sort of football talent vampire.

Depends on his off-season and what the new staff can do with him in camp. Seems a long shot to make the team at this point if the staff cannot find the light switch.
