Jason Boris’ Mock Draft just dropped

Well if it's in a "final" mock then I guess it's final.

I said yesterday I thought Saints would go WR or CB because those were their biggest needs among multiple needs and, for better or worse, the Saints have addressed their biggest need in each of the last 3 drafts. However, the more I think about it, the more I think LT may be the play because that could conceivably improve 3 positions with one pick

The general thought is that Fuaga is better at RT than LT. The general thought is that Penning may be better at G than T. Thus, if the Saints take a LT they could conceivably get better at LT, RT and G because Fuaga and Penning could be moved to their best positions. That, plus the fact the Saints aren't going to pick up Penning's 5th year option suggest they don't see him as the future at Tackle and, at best, would prefer to pay him as a guard.

EDT: The only caveat is if all of the top Tackles are gone by 9

He thinks the Saints are going to pass on Mason Graham to take Mykel Williams, I'd be shocked.

Graham can play DE in a 3-4 I would think though, right?

I think they really want one of the OT's, but most mocks have all of those guys gone by 9.

I would melt. I like Mykel. But i love Graham. He would immediately come in and start next to Bresee and Godchaux and give us a pretty formidable DL that can eat up blockers for the edge guys.
