I just don't know where to begin

Maybe our new coach is offensive minded
I haven't watched Texas all year. Their QB any good?

Well, we need a safety. And a linebacker. And a DT. And a DE. And an OG. And a TE. And a WR. And a K. And a P. And a competent head coach.

So yeah, BPA.

Ewers has Baker Mayfield esque comps from a college profile and physical perspective.

Knowing what QB will be good in the NFL is a crapshoot, but we obviously need a QB of the future either now or next draft.

I don't want a qb.

Saints, if all thing go well, will suck for three years.

It would be the most Carolina thing ever to draft Sanders.

Drafting a safety from Georgia with that pick would be a travesty. Btw, we picking higher than 7.

Offensive lineman should be the pick.

OLine or DLine

DLine has been a horrible run-stopping unit and not consistent rushing the passer either.

Imagine going through this hell of a season just to draft a safety when we could have drafted Branch instead of Fosky and had it covered lol.

Yiu don’t ever waste a top 10 pick on a safety. That’s like drafting a guard in the top ten. Poor asset allocation, gm should be fired immediately.

That stance on guards have changed in recent years. Now safety yeah not a top 10 pick.

Changed by who lol? Horrible gms only maybe.

Top 20 picks should only be corners, ends, tackles, receivers and quarterbacks

Every now and then you get a rare talent at a different position come up. Like Bowers, but he’s basically a big receiver.

Carr’s contact is going to end up running through the duration of a rookie QB’s contract

To get the benefit of a rookie QB deal, we should wait. This year’s class is murky anyway

I think Shadeur gets unnecessary hate due to his big mouth and dad. It’s no doubt he has skills and have tools to be a great qb in the league

Since Quenton Nelson - he legitimately came in and made them go from a bottom 5 OL to a top 5 one as a rookie.

Elite OGs are rare to find, but they are nearly as valuable as elite LTs. Hell, I'd say they're more valuable than RTs. The ability to step up into the pocket for a QB or a RB having a wide open lane can do wonders -- look at Detroit for example.

LOL

yeah because Jahan Dotson and Treylon Burks were such great picks over Zion Johnson and Tyler Smith?

Taking a TE as a top 20 pick has ROUTINELY proven to be stupid.

Build from the lines out. It’s going to take a few years, prioritize QB later.

I wouldn’t take Ewers. I think he’s a good player but he’s a walking injury.

We will absolutely suck next year. It remains to be seen if a good coach, scheme, and influx of younger players couldn’t have things looking up somewhere in the season in 2026.

How many great QBs have a big mouth? This isn’t a knock on shadiur himself as much as it just seems to be the exception at the NFL level. May be missing someone but Baker is probably the best “cocky” nfl qb at the moment.

Not saying it couldn’t work but when you’re in a position of needing everything the big mouth qb may not be the way to go with a depleted roster especially when Carr is going to remain on the roster for a year or two more.

The DT from Kentucky is who I'm liking. We need to stop the run, its absolutely killing us the last couple of years. Saunders and Sheppard aren't getting anything done. Bresee at least brings pressure up the middle. Edge is an issue too, with a bajillion first rounders playing and no one getting to the qb, its a shame to have that much draft capital invested for no results.
