McShay: Saints aren’t taking Shadeur at 9 or even 40

McShay he got a call from a source he trusts that he was very confident Saints wouldn’t take Sanders at 9 or even probably not 40.
He is hearing that Pittsburgh likes Sanders but not necessarily enough to take him at 21.
People in the league think they may be able to sit back and wait until at least the mid to late 20s. Also thinks Daboll’s people with the Giants prefer Dart.

How funny would it be if Sanders falls out of the 1st round and Milroe gets picked late in the 1st.
The NFL invited Milroe to draft day, and they really only do that if there's a high likelihood of the player being selected in the the 1st round to avoid unnecessary awkward situations (that sometimes happen regardless.)

It’s funny that people say they don’t believe anything this time of year unless it’s what they want to hear than they believe it … I don’t want sanders as much as the next guy … but I don’t believe all this smoke … Vegas doesn’t either

Some people can have information and end up being right, but no one KNOWS, because no one can know what all 32 teams are thinking days before the draft
