Don’t see it happening but who knows.

This board is going to melt when Milroe is the QB we get at 40 or in a trade up

The Superdome deserves to burn if we draft Milroe to be a QB or anything for that matter

Got a bad feeling we are going to end up with Shough.

It deserves to burn if they take Sanders too.

Milroe is the only non first round qb I want. Given I don’t really want any first round guy outside of ward, I wouldn’t mind it if we got him with one of those third rounders but I doubt he will be there.

I think like Corso did , it is time for Kiper to retire. He is just wrong so many times and no one really valued his input or analysis. I'm not sure if any teams really give him an inside information anymore.

When I was in my teens and 20s I would be exited about who we drafted. Back in those days there were just a few games on each week and you didn’t see west coast teams until the bowl games. So I saw highlights during the draft and was like, “oh yeah, that’s what we need.”

In my 30s, I had my favorites based on watching games, “research” and all the mock drafts that started coming out. I melted pretty hard over a few picks in those days.

Now, I’ve see how wrong I’ve been on all sides of a player/pick and try to take it in stride and see how things play out.

But if we take Milroe at 40 when we need talent so badly at literally every other position…I’ll melt hard!

I'll fans so stupid, we just saw Hurts win the Super Bowl with an OC that's now our HC and still can't see Milroe being successful in the NO.

Kiper likes to do this so that when the Saints pass on Sanders he can bag on them for a few picks

Exacly right. I remember him doing this with Brady Quinn, Jimmy Clausen, and Geno Smith to name a few, although he was vindicated about Geno over time. He said he'd retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL QB within 8 years. He was out of the league long before then and Mel still hasn't retired.

No one can really pinpoint what in the hell the Saints will do. However, in the last two drafts the first round selection has equaled the biggest need. Two years ago the biggest need was DT. They took Bresee. Last year it was tackle. They took a tackle. While the Saints arguably have needs everywhere, the two biggest needs among many are at CB and WR. Ultimately, I think that's where the Saints will go...despite talk for months about QB
